(1) IELTS Writing Task 2 by Mike Wattie: A very practical..

[Book] A Game of Thrones (2): Quotes (progress 47%) Title: A Game of Thrones Author: George R R Martin I watched the series up to somewhere around Season 6. Then I decided rather to read the book instead of watching it. Here are some book quotes at the point of progress of 47% of the first book. It will be a long way to go, and I am not sure I will even finish the whole series. Quotes 1. "So the..

[Book] The Best of Adam Sharp (by Graeme Simsion): Couldn't finish it. I couldn't finish it. This is a new book by Graeme Simsion who wrote The Rosie Project and The Rosie Effect. I love The Rosie Project and I like The Rosie Effect. So I chose this one but I just couldn't finish it. It is quite different from the Rosies. And the characters in the story are kind of too ordinary. It's a love stor..

[Book] The Rosie Effect (by Graemie Simsion): Still hilarious Title: The Rosie Project Author: Graemie Simsion As I deeply enjoyed the first book of the sequel (duology? bilogy? dilogy?), I naturally continued reading the second one. This is not as extraordinary as the first one, but I could still enjoy and it is still hilarious. The first book is how Don met Rosie and became a partner while the..

[Book] Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix I love this part! "What's that supposed to mean?" said Ron indignantly. "What sort of person cries when someone's kissing them?" "Yeah," said Harry, slightly desperately, "who does?" Hermione looked at the pair of them with an almost pitying expression on her face. "Don't you understand how Cho's feeling at the moment?" she asked. "No," said Harry..

[Book] The Blind Assassin - Margaret Atwood: Slow story Finally, I finished the book by skipping here and there. 1. Summary Iris is the narrator. She has a sister named Laura. And she's dead by an accident. Or a suicide. It looks like Richard, Iris husband, had an affair with Laura. Or sex involving violence. That might be the reason of her death. It also seems Iris killed Richard. But the descr..

1. Harry Potter and the order of the pheonix (by J. K. Rowling)

[Book] The Rosie project (by Graeme Simsion): Extraordinary love story I borrowed the book and the CDs of the audiobook of 'The Rosie project.' In the end, I didn't even open the cover of the book because I listened to the whole story from the CDs while driving. In a word, it's fascinating! Extraordinary! [Book] Quantum night (by Robert J. Sawyer): Radical categorization of people Title: Quantum nightAuthor: Robert J. Sawyer This is a book review about the book I have not read. The feeling of listeni..

[Book] Before I go to sleep (by S.J. Watson): New beginning everyday Title: Before I go to sleep Author: S.J. Watson Another book for the book club. It's a story about a lady who loses her memory every night. 1. Summary There is a lady called Christine who lives in London, UK. During the sleep at night, she loses her memory. She thinks she is in her 20's but she is actually in her late 40's. She..

[Book] The adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary E. Pearson: What is identity? Title: The adoration of Jenna Fox Author: Mary E. Pearson I read this book for a book club meeting.

[책] After Anna by Alex Lake 애프터 안나, 알렉스 레이크: 고부갈등 끝판왕 이야기 제목: After Anna글쓴이: Alex Lake 흥미롭게 읽었다는 어떤 분의 글을 보고 읽게 된 책이다. #애프터안나 A photo posted by 장나라 (@nara0318) on Jul 12, 2016 at 1:33am PDT 1.Anna라는 5살 여자아이가 납치되면서 ..

IELTS: How to use commas in IELTS writing Punctuation matters. There are two most frequently used types of punctuation in writing: A full stop and a comma. A full stop is quite obvious where to be put whereas a comma is often ambiguous. Therefore, here I make a note on the usage of commas. English Punctuation - J. Morison I found a book called 'English Punctuation' by J. Morison in the library a..
