IELTS Writing Task 2 by Mike Wattie: A very practical guide book
IELTS Writing Task 2 by Mike Wattie: A very practical guide book
I borrowed this book from a local library and found it is very practical. It helps step by step to achieve a high band score.
Title: IELTS Writing Task 2: Model Essays and How to Write Them!
Author: Mike Wattie
It's not published by a major publisher, and probably that's why this book can be so practical. I guess that guide books from major publishers should avoid all the claims which might occur by giving direct solutions to readers.
This book categorises essays in three types:
1. Opinion
2. Both sides + opinion
3. Two question essay
The structure of essay should vary according to the types of essay. How couldn't I know this before! This book indicates all the mistakes that I made in my previous writing. It also provides templates which you can memorise and implement in the real test.
I would recommend this book to anyone struggling to get 7 or higher in IELTS writing. In fact, this is the best IELTS writing book I have seen for the last few months.
There is a website by the author which contains profound information on IELTS. It's worth to visit.
Since I have a proper guide, what I should do now is practice. Yes, I'm excited!
